USDA MAPS ARE CHANGING FEB 2, 2015

Starting Feb 2, 2015, the maps will be changing. Below is a comparison of the current vs. future maps. The primary areas that will be affected are around eastern Round Rock and Georgetown. Looks like all of Hays county will remain eligible:

The USDA Rural Housing Service is a zero-down payment mortgage program available to aid Texas residents toward the purchase a home!

Here are some of the key benefits of this program:

  • No Down Payment requirement*

  • Property must be located in an eligible rural area...see link to map below.

  • Closing Cost can be added into the loan if the home appraisers for more than the purchase price.

  • Low interest rates.

  • Flexible credit requirements. 

  • You do NOT have to be a First-Time Home buyer!

  • Seller can pay all or a portion of the buyer's closing costs.

  • No cash reserve requirement.

  • Gifts are allowed for closing costs.
